Marty on Mom ... introduction

Mom_and_marty2

Hi Everyone!

As this is essentially the inauguration of www.glennamoore.com, I want to thank you for visiting the site, and encourage you to participate.

My mother’s ALS journey has motivated friends and loved-ones to express their affection for her in a variety of ways – visits, prayer, providing meals (giving Dad a breather!), emails, written notes – whatever suits them best.

Our family has reacted similarly: John’s media know-how spawned this website, and I will contribute weekly postings. I do not promise all postings will be the most amusing, most thought provoking, or even interesting story. I do promise, however, I will keep them as grammar-error-free as best I can; otherwise my mom will feel a failure.

Seriously, I look forward to sharing my memories and thoughts with you. My mom and I not only look very much alike, we also think very much alike, which has led to a wonderful (and frustrating) mother/daughter relationship.

The Moore family appreciates all of your well wishes, and hope you will utilize this site to keep in touch.

Hey there, I keep a promise.

I can't believe I've known you 12 years, your dad was a gigantic help to get me started in business, and I've never met Al or Glenna. I hope to soon. Hi Glenna and Al! :-)

Hoping that I am grammar-error free (should it have been never/nor?) and wishing all of you all of the best,

Adam

Glenna, I loved our visit today! You are such an outstanding person and I just love being around you! Your wedding dress does not have lace! I went back this evening and looked at some of the pictures! It is the white silk boat neck with the beautiful long sleeves! It is classic and beautiful on you! I will see you again soon and love you!
Marty, I love the memories you and your family share with us! Glenna is special to us and we have shared some wonderful times.

I've heard such wonderul things about Glenna from my daughter, Tricia Gray. She loves and admires Glenna so very much. I only wish I could have known her May God bless each of you.

Marty,

To you and your family, I wish my condolences on the loss of your beautiful mother. I have some wonderful memories of being in your home on Tophill, in fact, I still have many photos we took hanging out there. I hope you'll see this posting, or that someone will let you know about it. So many years have gone by since we've been in touch. I met with Kari today and as we were catching up, I asked about you. She mentioned the last time she saw you was at the funeral and I was shocked to say the least. I think of you often and wonder how your life turned out? I would love to hear from you. All the best and a Happy New Year. With heartfelt sympathy.....Love, Kimberlee
